Announcement to the PSME Community
We would like to inform the PSME Community that the PSME Foundation remains fully operational and will continue to pursue its mission, as outlined during its inception, regardless of the level of cooperation it receives from the PSME.
While we work in coordination with PSME, as an independent legal entity, the PSME Foundation is not subject to the direction or influence of any other organization. Our commitment to serving the long-term interests of PSME members remains unwavering. We will persist in providing critical support during times of calamity, while also advancing key long-term projects and initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of the mechanical engineering profession.
The Foundation will continue to promote the advancement of both the science and the art of mechanical engineering, always striving to elevate the field for the benefit of our mechanical engineering community and society at large.
Lastly, we would like to assure the PSME membership that there is no break-away group or another group. We remain committed to supporting a strong PSME, whether its board likes it or not.
