Scholarship Program Guidelines

A. Benefits

  1. Php 15,000.00 per term (P30,000.00 per year) until the completion of the Academic Program.

  2. Scholarship begins at the 1st term of the 2nd Year of the Academic Program.


B. Qualifications

  1. Must be at least in the 1st year of the academic programs at the time of application.

  2. Must have a GWA of 2.50 or higher for the last term.


C. Requirements

  1. Completed Scholarship Application Form (download)

  2. 2x2 ID picture

  3. Grade Certification from Administration Dept. of School

  4. Photocopy of Latest Income Tax Return of Both Parents or Affidavit of Not Filing Income Tax Return.

  5. If parent is an OFW, provide copy of contract with salary indicated.

  6. Certificate of Good Moral Character from Office of the Prefect of Discipline

  7. Certificate of Good Health.

  8. A brief essay stating the reasons why the applicant is deserving of the scholarship   

  9. 2 recommendation letters from department heads or professors

  10. Endorsement letter from the President of a PSME Chapter in good standing.


D. Responsibilities of the Scholars

  1. The scholar must have a GWA of 2.75 or higher

  2. The scholar must not have a grade lower than 3.0 in any course/subject. 

  3. The scholar must carry a regular load prescribed by the academic program. The scholar must take only the courses required by the academic program every term.

  4. The scholar must not have any dropped/failed courses including NSTP (National Service Training Program) and P.E. (Physical Education).

  5. The scholar must not be subjected to any disciplinary sanction by the school or convicted with the commission of an offense punishable by law.

  6. The scholar must provide and update his/her personal contact information

  7. Must visit the School Administration office before enrollment for validation

  8. The scholar must be active in the School's PSME Junior Unit (JPSME) and submit a report of his/her activities in the JPSME per semester.

  9. The scholarship is valid as long as the course of the student is Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
